June is almost over.

It’s been a fun couple of days hanging out with family that’s in town. Yesterday we met up with Trev’s cousins Britta & Melanie. We ended up shopping at IKEA and The Mall, and then Britta, Melanie, and Melanie’s boyfriend Tyler came over for dinner at our place. I marinated some chicken so we could have grilled lemon garlic chicken, and then put together a fruit salad and some veggie foil packs for grilled veggies: potatoes, carrots, zucchini, squash, and mushrooms. Delicious! We also had fun looking through some of my scrapbooks at family reunion and Lake Week photos from the past few years. Cash Howard the cockapoo also had a fun time going through Britta’s purse and stealing a dark chocolate candy bar for a snack. Fortunately it was small enough that all it did was make him hyper.

My dad is in town for a couple of days for the ECC annual conference, so we met up with him and Andy, Zion’s associate pastor, for lunch at Cosetta’s. It was a really nice time!

Tomorrow we head for Fergus Falls to hang out a couple days and go to one of Trev’s old roommate’s wedding. It will be the first wedding in a back yard I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to an outdoor wedding and an outdoor reception, and a reception in a back yard, but never a ceremony in a back yard. Congrats to Nick & Katie! The weather for the next couple of days says rain, so let’s hope it won’t be raining and storming Saturday night!

Jen, it was a possible 365 photo. At the check-out there was a 365 recipe book, and Britta is holding it open to the recipe for June 23rd. I ended up using a diff photo for my photo of the day.
